My Experience
Upon leaving university I worked as an early years outreach worker for Barnardos where I gained a level 3 in Early Years education as well as vast experience working with children from all backgrounds and helping them develop in their first 5 years. I did so through fun and interactive stay and play sessions such as first words together or songs and rhyme time.
I then went onto work as a residential worker in a family assessment centre, working with newborn babies and parents undergoing parental assessments. It is here I truly developed my passions for supporting parents as well as helping babies and toddlers grow and develop into beautiful little humans. I now continue my work with families and children as a community development worker in South Birmingham, working to build resilience amongst families.
In my personal life I have been an older cousin to two beautiful girls who I regularly looked after when they were small, as well as being a foster sister to a gorgeous 1 year old boy who I helped care for until he left us at age 5. I now continue to help look after my next door neighbours 3 year old girl.

I still work a 9-5 so I am available on certain evenings and weekends with prior notice, for any school holidays I am happy to book certain days off work if enough notice is given.
