About Me
Home help, cleaning ect and available for baby sitting and childminding. I have experience with autism and ADHD as my younger sister has been diagnosed and we are well educated about her and her daily struggles. I am a very bubbly and easy going person and deal well under stress. I am a playful person and great around young people, but also know when to implement boundaries and rule following when dealing with small children. I am also hoping to go into paediatrics when I qualify as a dietician next year.
My Experience
I have 3 years as an experienced home help carer that was within the community. Ranging from all ages (but mostly older) and learning disabilities. Involved a whole range of tasks such as cleaning, medication and everyday tasks and companionship. I have younger siblings in which there is a big age gap and I would look after my family a lot and still do as they are still young, so have hands on experience of everyday life with young people. I absolutely loved my job as a carer and was nominated for an award at my last company. Unfortunately I had to leave as I am a student dietician part of the NHS and I miss my role deeply, but was unable to keep up with the full time hours. I am looking for occasional work maybe 1 or 2 times a week, preferably on the evening and could do weekend mornings as well, just for some extra money whilst I complete my studies.
My Qualifications
.3 years as an experienced home help carer in the community. meal making, medication moving and handling etc general household chores.
.Doing a masters in dietetics part of the NHS as a student
.have younger siblings aged 12 and 14, also used to look after them a lot when they were younger as the big age gap
.can help with homework for children all ages, especially maths and science.
. Have a full DBS for both adult and children
. Have all school qualifications as studying a masters- 7 GCSE's 3 A-Levels 1 degree in food science and nutrition and currently studying a masters in dietetics.
.Safeguarding training in children and adults
. Level 2 food safety certificate
My Availability
I am looking for occasional work maybe 1 or 2 times a week, preferably on the evening and could do weekend mornings as well, just for some extra money whilst I complete my studies
