About Me
We’re a friendly, loving family based in W12 near Wormholt Park, looking for a kind and reliable part-time nanny to support us with our baby boy, Nikhil, who is currently just over 3 months old. I’m on maternity leave until the end of September, and my husband and I both work in a startup in London.
We’re a relaxed and respectful household with a curious, alert little one and a sweet indoor-outdoor cat (in case of allergies). We’re hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone who enjoys caring for babies, is confident with infant routines, and can be a calm, warm presence in our home. There’s usually at least one parent in the house, so we’re looking for someone comfortable working in a shared care setup.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a gentle, baby-led nanny who supports responsive caregiving and understands the ups and downs of baby routines. Experience with infants under one is essential, and it would be a real bonus if you have knowledge or interest in baby sleep, weaning, and developmental stages.
We’re ideally looking for someone local to W12, who can come for two afternoons a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12–3pm) starting ASAP. These three-hour windows would mainly be so I can rest — so helping Nikhil through one wake window and settling him to sleep will be your main task. If the exact times/days don’t work, we’re open to other suggestions.
Other important details:
• We’re offering £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience
• Ideally, you would be self-employed, but we’re happy to discuss PAYE and support with any tax setup if needed
• You should be a non-smoker, confident with bottle feeding, and ideally have up-to-date first aid training
