I'm James, I love working with kids to support play and learning. I have a passion for silliness, which I believe is a brilliant skill in building confidence and resilience. Answering questions is very important to me, I always aim to communicate with children on an equal level, explain things to the best of my ability, and admit when I don't know the answer.
My Experience
In 2022 I began working as a classroom assistant at Best Theatre Arts, and have remained there to present. Throughout this time I've worked with children from 2.5 to 8 years old for up to 6 hours at a time. This includes aiding in problem solving, comforting upset or hurt children, organising and playing games, and monitoring food.
My Qualifications
I do not currently have a formal qualification in childcare. I have GCSE English and Maths from Top Grades alternative provision.
My Availability
The times not selected could be worked, but I would more likely need to know at least a week ahead.
