My Summary

Postnatal Doula
I'm Covid-19 Vaccinated

About Me

Hey there! I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and share a bit about why I do what I do.

As a doula, my goal is simple: to empower women to birth their babies confidently, safely, and their way. I’m here to offer support, information, and a listening ear through pregnancy, birth, and those early days of motherhood.

I originally trained as a midwife, but my own journey into motherhood led me down a different path. While I stepped away from clinical midwifery, I took with me a deep understanding of birth and an even deeper passion for supporting women during this transformative time.

My own experiences with infertility, miscarriage, a medically complex birth, and breastfeeding struggles have given me a unique perspective. I’ve learned so much—sometimes the hard way—and now I’m able to share practical tips, emotional support, and evidence-based info to help other mums avoid unnecessary interventions and feel truly prepared, especially when it comes to things like breastfeeding.

If you’re expecting (or know someone who is), I’d love to walk alongside you on this journey. Every woman deserves to feel confident, informed, and supported.

Let’s chat—your birth, your way.

My Experience

I have just qualified so currently have no experience as a doula but I worked in the post natal ward in Royal Stoke Maternity for 6 weeks as a volunteer and have completed my course to become a doula, am currently enrolled on another course for hypnobirthing and about to stay a breastfeeding training programme too. I intend to gain as much knowledge as possible to support mums.

My Qualifications

I have a certificate in doula care and will soon be able to support in hypnobirthing and breastfeeding with The Breastfeeding Network

My Availability

I am currently unavailable for being physically present at births but I offer ante natal and post natal support. This can be via text or phone call whenever support or advice is needed and we will have "catch ups" where we meet in person to discuss any progress, concerns or anything else that might be in your mind. I also will support post natally for up to 3 months if that's required for daily support such as meal prep, light cleaning and respite for mum and dad to get that well deserved rest. Please contact me if weekdays don't work for you as I am available after school, evenings and weekends on some days but this will change weekly.
