About Me
Hello! My name's Becky and I offer a home from home, pet friendly, non-smoking/non-vaping Childminding setting. I am 43 years old and I live in the Broomhill/Brislington area with my 2 son's, my little dog and cat. My hours are from 8:30-5:30, Monday - Friday and I work with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
My Experience
I am a newly registered childminder with a strong foundation in childcare, built through years of experience as a trusted babysitter and through raising my own children, nieces, and nephews. I am fully qualified, having completed the Local Authority Childminding course and achieved Ofsted registration.
My background includes a career in the Civil Service, with qualifications in Leadership and Management, and CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply). I am also a trained Mental Health First Aider, a certified Life Coach, and a Reiki Master—bringing a unique blend of emotional intelligence, wellbeing awareness, and holistic care to my role as a childminder.
I am passionate about nurturing the potential in every child and believe that the best foundation for lifelong growth and confidence begins in the early years. My aim is to support every child in becoming the best version of themselves in a safe, loving, and inspiring environment.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Bristol City Council Childminding Course. My training includes Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, OPAL, and the Progress Check at Age 2. I have 9 GCSE's, GNVQ Business, BTEC in Performing Arts, Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 and Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 and Mental Health First Aider. I am also qualified as a Reiki Master, and a Quantum Life Coach.
My Availability
My hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. I have Government funded spaces from September 2025.
