My Requirements
Childcare required from February 2026.
My baby will be 1 then, when my years maternity ends and I need to return to work 4 days a week. We would require care Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm. We can be flexible with getting family to collect early/utilising different childminders/nanny's/nurseries if you can't do all the days/times.
Ideally, we would like to use the 30 free hours from 9 months. So a childminder would be ideal as we cannot get a nursery spot until July 2026.
I do however WFH 2 days a week so it would be nice to maybe find a nanny that can accommodate so I can still see my son during the day at our home whilst working. I understand nanny's can't do the free hours but this might be a nice way to ease back into working instead of going cold turkey on my son and I not seeing each other all day every day!
