My Summary
Mum Of Three (2 Neurodiverse Children), Yoga Instructor, Accounts Administrator And Carer For Famil.
About Me
Hi there, I'm Keeley Jean-Baptiste, based in Burley in Wharfedale.
I’m a caring mum of three with a passion for supporting both children’s and parents’ wellbeing and physical health through yoga, play, and creative learning, while also bringing 18 years of experience in accounts to ensure professionalism and reliability in all aspects of my work. I’ve also supported a sick family member while balancing the demands of a home life, demonstrating my ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with care and efficiency.
More in depth detail below:
I’m a mum of three amazing children aged between 8 and 15, two of whom have special needs. My children have taught me more than any course ever could. One was on a ventilator at 6 weeks old, another had severe colic, and one cried constantly from three months. All three have had their challenges—as all children do—but they are thriving and happy. I’m proud of the resilience we’ve built together as a family.
Professionally, I’ve spent 18 years in accounts, handling everything from payroll and invoicing to reconciliation and credit control. I’m known for my discretion, strong communication, and calm approach under pressure. I also work one day a week at a forest school with preschoolers, and I’ve supported primary school children in this setting too. I absolutely love it—encouraging children to experiment, be curious, and connect with nature is a huge passion of mine.
In addition, I’m a qualified Functional Vinyasa Yoga teacher. I teach classes locally and practise yoga myself for around five hours per week. I also run 12 miles per week and lift weights twice weekly—physical and mental health are a big part of my life. Yoga isn’t just a career for me—it’s part of my healing story. When I lost my father at the age of 13, my world turned upside down. I had no one to turn to, and it’s incredibly important to me now that children feel supported and seen.
Looking after children with special needs, both as a parent and carer, requires deep patience, adaptability, empathy, and problem-solving. I’ve homeschooled one of my children when anxiety made school unbearable, and they went on to thrive in the classroom thanks to the confidence and understanding we helped build at home.
Each of my children is wildly different. My eldest learns best by revision and curiosity, often asking big questions. My middle child is twice exceptional—both gifted and neurodiverse—and solves 18-digit maths sums by hand while excelling as an athlete. My youngest learns through creativity, where language and numeracy still shine. I’m a big believer in adapting learning to suit the child, and I see value in both academia and play.
Our home is clean and allergy-aware—my children have dust mite allergies, so I stay on top of hygiene. I also prioritise home-cooked meals with minimal processed food (although we all enjoy the odd treat!). I’m a firm believer in the power of walking for both mental and physical health—it keeps us fit, reduces illness by aiding lymphatic movement, and helps us see the world around us.
Yoga is where everything comes together for me. It gave me freedom, confidence, and healing. My motto is simple: *create freedom in your body so you can live a life full of play, strength and connection.* While I won’t be teaching yoga classes in this role, I love supporting parents however I can—whether that’s offering stress relief tips, gentle movement demonstrations, or guidance on fitness after having children. I’m always happy to help and I can offer tailored 1:1 sessions for your needs if you'd like that support.
On top of this, I’ve also cared for a sick family member while juggling a busy home life, so I truly understand the demands of balancing personal care with work. I have a deep appreciation for the challenges parents face and am committed to supporting families in any way I can, whether through yoga, creative learning, or practical support.
My Husband teaches course for Nurses and Care Assistants for both mental health and general health wards, so I can easily obtain training and certification in several areas including first aid.
If your child’s mental and physical wellbeing is important to you, and you're looking for someone who values creativity, fun, movement and learning in equal measure, please get in touch—I’d love to hear from you.

My Experience
Parenting & Personal Experience:
As a mother of three, I bring a deep, lived understanding of the complexities and joys of raising children. Each of my children has faced their own unique challenges—my eldest was on a ventilator at just six weeks old, another experienced severe colic, and my youngest went through an intense period of inconsolable crying from three months onward. Through it all, I’ve learned to stay calm, patient, and adaptable—skills that can’t be taught in a classroom.
All three of my children are thriving today. They are happy, resilient, and deeply supported. Parenting them has strengthened my intuition, emotional intelligence, and ability to read situations quickly, helping me know when to step in and when to give children space to grow.
This real-world experience shapes everything I do in caregiving and educational settings. I know that every child is different—and that support, love, structure, and play are key to helping them flourish.
Yoga Teaching & Wellbeing Support:
As a qualified Functional Vinyasa Yoga teacher, I specialise in creating classes that support both physical and emotional well-being. My own journey with yoga began as a way to heal after the loss of my father at age 13—a trauma that reshaped my world. Movement, breath, and body awareness became my way back to myself, and now I offer that same grounding experience to others.
In my yoga practice, I focus on building strength, mobility, and a deep connection to the body. My classes often help release tension, increase flexibility, and promote calm—even for those new to yoga or returning after a break. I emphasise the importance of building a body that allows us to experience freedom, play, and resilience in everyday life.
For parents, I understand how demanding raising children can be—especially those with additional needs. I offer a compassionate space where you can reconnect with your own body, feel heard, and leave class with a little more energy and a lot more calm. I believe that when parents feel supported, the whole household benefits.
