About Me
Hi there! My name is Delainey and I am a second year nursing student (child and mental health dual field). I am very enthusiastic about exercise and healthy eating, as I can see the benefits it has on someone’s physical and mental wellbeing both in the short term and further into adulthood. As well as enjoying exercise, I also enjoy tactile and mindful activities such as painting and baking.
My Experience
I have previously volunteered at a swim school, helping with teaching children (aged 4-12) how to swim. I have a qualification in Level 1 Swim Instructor (Swim Assistant). I have also helped out with swim coaching (involving children 9+ years old).
I have also attended work experience in a special educational needs school, where I observed lessons and interacted with children with complex needs. I completed activities such as music groups and hydrotherapy.
After this I gain the qualification and worked as a Lifeguard, which I worked as for 2 years. Here I was responsible for attending staff training (to keep my knowledge and skills up to date), keeping the pool environment safe, carry out first aid where appropriate and clean the leisure centre.
Following this I started my university studies, and applied for my most recent job as a healthcare assistant/health support worker at both physical health hospitals and mental health.
I am currently really enjoying my study’s but am looking for flexible work, where I can be interacting with young people and having some fun!

My Availability
I work flexibly around my university schedule so feel free to contact me in advanced. I am free a lot of the time during school holidays.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Fees to cover mileage as well as small activities such as baking or painting. Larger activities (such as trips to a local farm) must be covered by family.
