About Me
Hi! I’m Roisin - a first-time Mum and proud Northener! My partner and I have recently welcomed our baby Miles into our family. We’re Woodford Green locals and generally love spending time in our favourite nearby green spaces, getting the family together outside of work and spending time renovating our new home, a short walk from Woodford Green cricket club. My partner works close by at St Aubyn’s school, and I work in the charity sector at a job based in East London, of which I’m currently on maternity leave until March 2026.
My Requirements
We’re seeking local options for a supportive and loving home-from-home to take care of and nurture our little guy, starting around March/April 2026. Miles is currently 8 weeks old and will be at least 11 months old at the time of starting childcare.
We are generally looking for a minimum of 3 days care per week, most likely on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
As a family we love the outdoors and spending time in nature, and we’re also a creative bunch! Miles was born in Cumbria and I myself grew up in North Yorkshire, so we’d really love to explore childcare options where regular outdoor play and exploration is encouraged and enabled. Similarly, creative and messy play is very welcome!
Between my partner and I we work locally/flexibly and are exploring options with a childminder as we’d prefer a more personalised and friendly approach to figuring out the best care option for our baba!
