My Experience
I have a warm and friendly approach and really do enjoy spending time with children to the point I even applied to be a primary school teacher.
I took on work experiences roles for around 4 months where I helped out in nurseries and played with the children, did painting with them, made sandcastles with them etc. I have a nephew of my own who loves reading and he's only 2 so I always buy him new childrens books and read to him so he picks up new words and to encourage him more to love reading as its good for child development.
2 summers ago I was doing work experience at an institute where we helped provide care for the poor people , like giving food to them and giving them clothes, including those who had disabilities, of all ages. This was a first time experience for me but worth the time as it taught me patience and how different people require different things even if they're the same age or gender, but just based on how their mental health is or physical condition. Therefore I believe I am fit to help those children who have special needs with the best and most effective care.
My Qualifications
I studied health and social including childcare for GCSE's and at College I studied psychology where we learnt about how the child mind and attachments develop. I believe these were essential for me to then go into babysitting or childminding as I will understand what a baby or child requires at that specific age, to help with their emotional and social development.
