About Me
My name is Louise and I have a wealth of baby and childcare experience.
I am a qualified midwife, maternity nurse and night nanny.
I have retired professionally but still very much enjoy working with families and young children.
I have four adult children and seven grandchildren, ranging in age from 1 - 14
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, sailing , gardening, baking, tennis and walking.
I live in the beautiful town of Emsworth and I’m never happier than being by the sea.
My Experience
I am a qualified midwife with a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Surrey, Maternity Nurse and Night Nanny qualification from MNT Training, Reading
I have 40 years experience with children of all ages.
I raised my four children and enjoy being really hands on with my grandchildren.
I am passionate about helping parents in the first few days and weeks after birth, so that this special time can be as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
This could be helping with baby care, breastfeeding advice, supporting bottle feeding, meal preparation and overall reassurance.
I approach childcare in a calm, organised and fun way. After all, shouldn’t being a child be fun? And being a parent enjoyable?
My rates are flexible and discussed on an individual basis.
