About Me

With over a decade of experience working with babies, children, and young people, I’ve dedicated my career to nurturing and supporting families in a wide range of settings—from nurseries and schools to private nannying and hospitals. Nearly two years ago, I qualified as a paediatric nurse, a role I absolutely adore, as it allows me to combine my professional skills with my genuine love for working with children. I dream of having a family of my own one day, and that care and warmth naturally extend to the children I work with. Outside of work, I’m a very active and energetic person—I love running, swimming, and have even taken part in a few triathlons! When I’m not training, you’ll usually find me on long walks with my boyfriend and our dog, especially by the ocean, which we both adore. Our love for the coast, along with the opportunity for a better quality of life (and more affordable housing!), has inspired us to relocate to North Devon, where my boyfriend has family and has recently secured a job. We're excited to make the move as soon as possible, and I’m eager to settle into this beautiful area, become part of a new community, and support another family in helping their child grow, thrive, and feel truly cared for.

My Experience

I left school at 16 to begin my NVQ Level 2 in a nursery, and from that point on, working with children has been at the heart of everything I do. I'm now a qualified Paediatric Nurse with experience in both hospital and community settings. I spent a year working in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care), supporting some of the most vulnerable babies and their families, and I’m currently working as a Community Staff Nurse in School Nursing, supporting children and young people aged 5 to 19 with their physical and emotional health. These roles are incredibly different, and I’ve gained valuable experience from both—whether it’s teaching a parent how to care for their 28-week-old baby, or having open, sensitive conversations with teenagers about puberty and health. I’ve also previously worked as a nanny for a wonderful family seven years ago, and I’m proud to still be a part of their lives today. I’d be more than happy to answer any questions about my background and experience—please feel free to ask!

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
  • Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £15–£18 per hour (gross), which reflects over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for children across a wide range of settings—including nurseries, schools, private homes, and hospitals. I’m also a qualified Paediatric Nurse, with specialist experience in both neonatal intensive care and school nursing.

This background allows me to offer not only a warm, nurturing presence, but also an added level of medical knowledge, reassurance, and confidence for families—especially when caring for younger children or those with additional needs.

If the role involves extra responsibilities (e.g., overnights, complex medical needs, or travel), I’m happy to discuss a slightly adjusted rate in the £18–£20/hr range.

Of course, I’m open to discussing what works best for your family, so please feel free to ask any questions.
