Hi, I’m a single parent and im looking for support with my youngest son.
He’s a 9-year-old boy and is neurodivergent, with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and a learning delay. He thrives with calm and patient support from people who understands how to support him.
Essential characteristics would be someone who is calm, confident, and able to provide gentle structure, routine, and reassurance. Extremely advantageous if you have SEN experience or relevant training, but most important is kindness, patience, and consistency.
I’m looking for weekly support (specifics to be confirmed), with flexibility for occasional extra help when needed. The role may include after-school care, activities/days out with him, school work support (year 2/3 level) and general help during school holidays and busy periods.
We have quite a busy household with my three other children (24 y/o daughter ,19 y/o son and 12 y/o daughter) coming and going. We and also have a large, friendly family dog, so it’s important that you’re comfortable around animals.

My Requirements
It would also be a big help if you’re able to support and work with my younger child on basic English and maths. He’s currently behind in those areas, so someone who can offer friendly, encouraging support in a relaxed and pressure-free way would be ideal.
We also have a family dog, so it’s important that you’re comfortable around animals and don’t mind having a friendly dog around while you’re here.
