About Me
I am a homebased childminder who loves working with children. My husband and I have lived in Pembury for the past 20 years and enjoy the friendly village life. We have two boys, who both attended Pembury Primary school, but who are now in higher education . We have a purpose built play space and safe enclosed garden for children to play in. I have been childminding in Pembury since early 2009 and offer a home from home care in a bright , happy environment with lots of arts, crafts, sand and water play. We have have a home corner and library of childrens books. We make use of the beautiful parks and play spaces locally as well as attending our local childminding groups and toddlers groups. Each child is individually given time, space and care to ensure quality of their experience. A detailed record of their progress and development is kept and parental input is warmly welcomed. I aim to create a happy, enjoyable and caring place where children feel welcomed and safe to express themselves as valued individuals.
My Experience
I spent over 12 years nannying in private homes, covering all ages from three months to 12 year old children. I have spent 35 years as a Brownie and Rainbow leader and continue to run both units. I run a Sunday School and am a church warden and very much enjoy being Mum to our two sons aged 17 and 20.
I have been working as a childminder in Pembury for 15 years and belong to the local Pembury Childminder's Group. I am registered as Outstanding by Ofsted.

My Availability
I am mainly looking for work between 8m and 5pm but am happy to negotiate other hours as required.
Will cover both short and long term childminding. I will be looking for new children to start in January 2025 when the children I care for now move into full time schooling.

Sally-Anne is a wonderfully caring childminder to children of all ages. She offers a range of activities to develop the children's abilities from painting, colouring, cutting and sticking to baking and gardening. The facilities are great and the children have their own playroom with plenty of toys to play with. She is completely trustworthy which in my opinion is extremely valuable!
