About Me
I'm Matt, 40. I live with my wife, Katie, 35, in the centre of Consett. We have two daughters: Amber, 5, and Esme, 19 months.
I had a rough couple of years. I experienced multiple seizures while riding my motorbike in October 2023. I was sedated at the roadside and then spent 24 hours sedated in the ICU before undergoing brain surgery for high pressure.
Our youngest was only four weeks old when my accident happened, my wife cared for our baby girl alone for the 10 days I was hospitalised.
While I was hospitalised for nearly two weeks, my wife cared for Esme while Amber stayed with my mother. Because of the circumstances, my wife co-slept with our little one, and now she is finding it difficult to transition to her cot.
We could use some help and/or tips to help her adjust to sleeping in her cot.
My Requirements
We haven't had a full child-free break apart from a few hours now and again since Esme was born, so we are looking for a sitter for a few hours while Amber is at school or at weekends while Amber is at my mum's.
