About Me
Hi, my name is Charlotte. My husband and I are both doctors with early morning schedules, and we have two energetic little ones — a 3.5 year old boy and a 1 year-old girl. We're looking for a warm, reliable person to provide wraparound care and become a steady presence in our family’s daily life.
Ideally, we’d love to find someone who’s a great fit for our family and who we can build a long-term, trusting relationship with over the years.
We’re hoping to have someone start in mid to late July. The first couple of weeks would involve a gentle transition period with us around, to help the kids settle in before we need help at the start of August.
My Requirements
We’re looking for wraparound care on Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternate Tuesdays. The role will include helping the children get ready in the mornings, taking them to and from nursery, and making and serving their supper. We'd like you to start their bedtime routine, including bath time and getting them ready for bed. It's likely you'll be responsible for putting our daughter to bed at the beginning, but this will change as her bedtime naturally gets later. We hope there’ll be a chance for some playtime in between all this, too!
We imagine the rough hours would be 7am-8.30am and then 4pm-7pm. This may change slightly as work commute and finishing times become a bit clearer after the first few weeks.
Our son will be starting school in a year, so ideally this arrangement could continue into 2026 and beyond, with additional support around school hours. Occasional babysitting would be a bonus!
