Special childminder and human being

I could not agree more with Vee's comments above. Angela is a special person and a special childminder. My daughter has been with Angela for a little over 6 months and I wish two things, 1) that I had met her before and 2) that the school my daughter will be attending would be served by Angela. Unfortunately, this is not the case and that's why we sadly have to leave her. Angela made my daughter so happy in a way that none of her previous caregivers had been able to. I think this is because Angela is a very warm, loving and caring person so children naturally love her. Angela also has a special way to make children listen to her when they start being naughty by keeping calm and kind but very firm at the same time. Angela is the only person my daughter listens to 100% of the times and she makes her so happy! In addition to this, Angela is very generous and, as Vee says, she organizes birthday parties and presents for all children in her care and treat them to special events, such as visits to the zoo and activity farms. There is another thing that I wanted to say about Angela. She will put your child at the centre of all she does and she will try and make sure that the child's needs are met at all times across all the settings that the child is involved in. This includes communicating with nurseries and parents in the best interest of the child. In summary, Angela truly loves children and will make your child happy and well look after and you will leave your child with her in the knowledge that she will be as good as you, if not better :). Honestly, Angela is special, make sure you grab her whilst you can! :)

Exceptional caregiver and human being

My daughter has been in Angela's care for about 3 years and I wish it never had to end but we have moved and I am dreading having to say our goodbyes. Angela has been more than a childminder to us, she has been there for us through thick and thin. We don't have a family around unfortunately and Angela has become this family to us and to my daughter especially. My daughter loves going to Angela's, there is always an abundance of activities and adventures. She takes kids to the best play groups and parks, farms and the ZSL zoo, and her large well-maintained garden is pretty much a playground in itself with additional fun of a swimming pool in hot weather and a gazebo for a lovely afternoon snack. Angela makes every special occasion extra special and throws super fun birthday parties for kids. She always has kids in mind when buying toys and somehow remembers every little detail and preference. Lastly, I believe that people like Angela are hard to come by, she has a beautiful caring nature, she is so warm, generous and loving, and even when kids misbehave she addresses it with so much patience and kindness. I can't thank her enough for being such an invaluable part of our lives!

Very happy!!

Angela has looked after our three children over the last 12 years and we can not be grateful enough for all of her help over the years!! She has become part of our family and our children are deeply attached to her! They all have very many wonderful memories of the time spent in her care! In every aspect a great childminder- very reliable, loving, kind, helpful and caring! She has looked after our children from baby age and has been great after my maternity leaves, she has helped potty train them, introducing them to their first friends, huge variety of activities, bringing them to play groups, cultural and fun events for children, the Zoo etc. Very important to mention is that due to her nurturing and warm nature and extended experience and knowledge of childcare, our children have developed into well behaved and confident young people!

Amazing Quality Loving Care

Angela has been caring for my children since 2010. Firstly my DD then then when I had my DS, (both children from 2012). The loving, caring and nurturing environment she has provided for both my children has been Outstanding and as an Early Years Professional myself, I do not make that judgement lightly. Her communication with us about the children is first class, which put my mind at ease as a working mum. I loved seeing pictures and narratives of what the children had been up to and her use of online learning journeys really showed their progress in achieving the Early Years Outcomes. When both my children started reception their teachers commented on how they could see that the children had been cared for in a positive nurturing environment.
Angela also continued to care for my children during school holidays and ensured that these were fun packed times with frequent trips.
I can honestly say that I felt that Angela treated my children as extra grandchildren, and my children love her as much as they do their grandparents.
So overall an OUTSTANDING childminder.
