About Me
Hello
My name is Carol I have been a ofsted registered childminder for 20years+
I work with my husband who is my ofsted registered assistant.
we have worked for lots of families over the years so have a wealth of experience.
we have 2 grown up sons, and 4 gorgeous grandchildren!!! I provide a wrap around childminding service in a loving family and homely environment.
I am fully insured both as a childminder and also as a car driver to carry minded children in my car, I have a 7 seater car which enables me to take the children out on visits to playgroups, childminders drop-ins, parks, sea side trips, farm trips, we go on teddy bear picnics and many other outtings.
we go out on walks around the local area with the children.
I have a lovely playroom in which the children can play safely and do lots of activities, The playroom has a bathroom with toilet/sink for the children. This leads into a safe and securely fenced garden with various out door toys cars,bike,scooters, and a play house. The children plant seeds and help to grow there own vegetables.
children do lots of mark making with paint brushes and water and they love to chalk on the pavement too!!
We have converted our garage into another playroom which we call the Rainbow Room this enables the children to have more space and to move around freely and safetly within the setting.
In our setting the children have lots of different learning and play experiances includng arts and craft , play dough,sand and water play . small world toys, Various jigsaws, story books, ball games,sensory experiances and lots of messy play!!! we bake cakes biscuits and decorate them.
Also singing and dancing, stories and the children can play on the wii console and use pc.
As a ofsted registered childminder I work with-in the eyfs (early years framework) so I provide a stimulating teaching and learning play environment.

I am available from 7.30m-6pm monday to friday but am flexible due to demands if possible

Exceptional Care from Carol and Her Supportive Husband.
We feel incredibly grateful to have found Carol as our childminder. She took in our daughter when she was only 10 weeks old, and it has been such a wonderful journey ever since. Carol’s warmth, patience, and dedication to her role have created a nurturing environment where our daughter feels safe, loved, and happy.

Carol and Billy are both very caring and friendly. Their house is perfect for the children as the two playrooms are made out specially for the kids with loads of different toys and play areas. The childminding area of the house feels more like a mini nursary as everything is designed around the kids. Carol would always do different arts and crafts with he kids, even messy play with cooked spaghetti! Every day was always full of activities both indoors and outdoors. You can tell Carol loves her job as she's very invested in the kids and always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
I would really recommend Carol to anyone looking for a childminder. Our daughter started going to carols when she was one and stopped just before she turned 3 as we moved out the area, otherwise we would have kept her there much longer.

Carol and Billy welcomed my children into their family home for over 5 years. They provided an excellent friendly service including reliable pick ups and drop offs to school and healthy snacks/ meals if required.
Before my children were of school age they attended a variety of playgroups with Carol or were entertained in her bespoke playroom or private garden when at home.
Carol always provided stimulating activities, which regularly included arts and crafts, social play with the other minded children, or even fun educational activities linked in to EYFS or their appropriate curriculum at school.
During the school holidays my children looked forward to their days with Carol and Billy, going on day trips, picnics and even enjoying outdoor wet weather adventures too!
I was confident to have Carol as my representative at school, reliably feeding back information from the teacher and passing on information from myself.
Carols service is extremely reliable, never requiring time off without notice and always being upfront and honest about charges,invoices and notice periods.
I no longer use Carols childminding service as my children have now moved schools however I do not hesitate in recommending her excellent service to anyone who would like their children to be looked after in a caring , fun and professional environment.
