My Experience

Over the years, I have become adept at the practical aspects of childcare such as meal preparation, feeding, dressing, changing nappies, reading, and ensuring children are safe and engaged. I have a lot of experience working with children aged 2 to 15, including babysitting for family members, working in a nursery, and tutoring children aged 8 to 16. My tutoring experience ranges from individual sessions to small groups, equipping me with the skills to manage multiple children and support them emotionally!

My Qualifications

Currently entering my final year of my medical studies, I have a good understanding of child safety, health, and development. This academic foundation strengthens my ability to provide responsible and attentive care. Additionally, I have strong organisational and time-management skills through both my studies and childcare experience, enabling me to maintain a structured and tidy environment, as well as encourage the children to do the same. I hold a clean DBS certificate issued through my university and am happy to accommodate any additional background checks you may require!

My Availability

I am currently available on weekends and most weekday evenings. Over the summer, I have full availability and can offer flexible bookings. Starting in September, I expect to be available on evenings and weekends, though I will need to confirm exact times closer to that period.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Standard rate: £13/hour

Weekends, after 9pm, last minute bookings, 3 children: £15/hour

Longer bookings (6+ hours) can be arranged at a fixed capped rate.

Reimbursement required for travel exceeding 50 minutes total (charged at 1 hour’s pay) or for travel home after 8pm (taxi fare, for safety purposes). For journeys near this limit, I am happy to discuss arrangements individually.
