About Me
I am a responsible and enthusiastic baby sitter who loves working with children with a range of different ages and abilities. I have expirience in early years and SEN through working in a primary school reception class and an SEN class with a wide range of needs. I am also paediatric first aid trained. Most importantly I am patient, creative and dedicated to creating a fun and engaging environment for your little ones. I am excited to bring my energy and skills to your family!
My Experience
My main expirience is within Early years, being a teaching assistant in reception classroom working closely with the whole class as well as groups for interventions, including phonics and play intervention.
I later joined the early years SEN classroom. A class of 6 autistic children with a wide range of needs. All 6 children are non-verbal so I have lots of expirience with alternative communication such as sign language, visual aids and assistive technology.
I assist with daily routines such as feeding, personal care and mobility while always ensuring their comfort and safety.
This experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy and creative problem solving and it reinforced my commitment to providing inclusive and person centred care.
