My Experience

I have experience looking after a couple of children aged between 1 and 12 years old. In this role, I was responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the children were safe, happy, and well cared for. One of my main duties included picking the children up from school and taking them to their after-school clubs and activities. This required careful time management and organisation to make sure they arrived on time and felt comfortable throughout the day.

In addition to transporting the children, I prepared healthy meals and snacks, paying attention to their dietary needs and preferences. I also made sure to engage the children with fun and educational games that suited their different ages, helping to keep them entertained and stimulated. For the older children, I provided support with homework and school projects, encouraging their learning and helping them stay focused.

Managing the children’s bedtime routines was another important part of my role. This included preparing them for bed, reading stories, and creating a calm and relaxing environment to help them wind down and sleep well. Throughout my time babysitting, I have always prioritised building a trusting and positive relationship with both the children and their parents, ensuring open communication and reliability.

My experience looking after children across a wide age range has helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and adaptability. I understand that every child is different, and I make sure to tailor activities and care to meet their individual needs. I am dependable, responsible, and dedicated to providing the best possible care, which has allowed me to build good relationships with the families I work with.

GCSEs and A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish.
