My Requirements

We are looking for a Part Time Nanny / Housekeeper near Ramsbury, SN8
Days / Hours: 16-20 hours a week, 10am – 6pm and 2pm-6pm, happy to be flexible for the right candidate. Additional hours can be offered for babysitting and occasional house / dog sitting.
We are hoping to find an experienced, kind, organised and reliable nanny / housekeeper to help us with all aspects of family life, with the emphasis on looking after our 3 boys, aged 7, 5 & 3. Our ideal candidate is someone who is warm, proactive, calm, caring and able to maintain strong boundaries.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Nursery duties, keeping all children’s areas, clothes, toys and books tidy and clean.
• Children’s laundry as well as occasional ironing.
• Stripping children’s beds and remaking.
• Deep cleans of children’s bedrooms when time allows.
• School pick up.
• Preparing children’s tea.
• Ability to batch cook would be beneficial but not essential.
• In winter, lighting logburner in the playroom and keeping the logburner going.
• Dog lover essential (we have 2 dogs).
• Driver essential, own car preferred. Mileage reimbursed.
• Start date September 2025.
• Salary dependent on experience.
The right candidate will be pro-active and able to use initiative. A good knowledge of laundry products and laundry care is essential. There is a separate laundry room in our house. We both work from home so it is important to us that our nanny-housekeeper is personable yet discreet.
In short, we are hoping to find a caring and kind laundry wizard who can cook a mean spaghetti Bolognese; someone who will love our dogs and look after our children so that we can crack on with the running of our farm ?
