My Experience
I have several years of experience working with children across a variety of settings, combining babysitting, volunteering, and tutoring. My child care journey began with volunteering in dance and piano classes, where I helped young children build confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement and play. I also supported science education in fun, hands-on ways, making learning exciting and engaging for children.
In addition to this, I have a strong academic background in tutoring. I’ve provided one-on-one and group support in English, Maths, Irish, and French, helping students of different ages build their understanding, improve their grades, and gain confidence in their abilities. This has given me excellent insight into how children learn and how to adapt my approach to suit their individual needs and personalities.
I also have direct babysitting experience, where I’ve cared for children of various ages, supporting their daily routines, meal times, play, and bedtime in a calm, nurturing way. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel confident.
