Hi! I am a qualified and registered early learning teacher, with a Bachelors in Education. Having spend the last 7 years living and working in New Zealand, I have returned home to Scotland for a new adventure. I am bubbly and warm and genuinely love working with children. I believe that strong relationships and trust are foundational to the learning and care of children and I enjoy working collaboratively with parents and families.
My Experience
I am a qualified and registered Early Childhood Teacher (in New Zealand) with experience working in kindergarten and as a teacher aide (to support children with specific needs). Previously, I have been a qualified swimming teacher and a dedicated nanny to families over the years, in Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand.
I have completed professional development throughout my teaching career, including Incredible Years (positive behaviour guidance), Way to Play (support for children with Autism), and the Engage Approach (helping children develop self-regulation skills). I have my full, comprehensive first aid certificate and child protection certificate (both from New Zealand).
