My Experience

I’ve been consistently involved in childcare since my teens. I spent around 4–5 years babysitting for local families while I was in school, and later did work experience in a primary school, which gave me insight into supporting children in a learning environment.

For the last 11 years, I’ve had a close and hands-on role helping care for my two nieces, now aged 11 and 8. I’ve looked after them regularly since they were babies—supporting their routines, helping with homework, and creating fun and enriching activities together.

My mum works with autistic children, and through her I’ve learned a lot about neurodiversity, emotional regulation, and the importance of flexible, child-centred care.

My Availability

As a freelancer, my schedule can vary week to week — but that also means I can offer a high level of flexibility for families looking for support that fits around changing needs.

I’m generally able to commit to two days per week, and I’m happy to work with families to agree on which days depending on what works best. Some weeks, I may be available more often — even full-time — and others, I may not be available at all. I’ll always aim to give as much notice as possible and keep communication clear and open.

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
• Nannying from £26.00 per hour (gross)
