About Me
I'm a friendly, eager, hardworking student looking for a little extra income while I study. I have a very broad understanding of English Literature and Language and would love to help children who need some extra help to excel. I can help with SATs and GCSE preparation. I have a range of experience caring for and supervising and teaching children from ages 9 to 16. I am deeply concerned with safe-guarding and protecting children, and caring for their physical and emotional well-being.
My Experience
I have supervised and taught children ages 9 to 11 in a holiday club near London over a week during which I had to ensure the children were safe and engaged in the activities. Once a week, I help supervise secondary school students in a youth group. I ensure they respectfully contribute to the discussions we have and I make them feel welcome and heard. I have completed an internship in a secondary school, learning how to effectively care for and teach students of this age group.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSEs and A-Levels to a high standard and have recently completed my undergraduate degree in English. I also have a DBS check
