My Experience

With 14 years of dedicated experience in Early Years settings, I've progressed through roles as a Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, and Third in Charge. My expertise spans working with children aged 6 months to 4 years, with a significant focus on the 2-year-old age group. Throughout my years in early years settings, I have consistently supported children through developmental transitions, fostering their emotional regulation and social-emotional growth. I excel at planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that stimulate cognitive, physical, communication, and creative development. My practice includes systematically tracking children's progress against developmental milestones and utilizing this data to inform individualized learning plans. Furthermore, I regularly organize engaging outdoor excursions to promote gross motor skills, sensory exploration, and a connection with the natural environment.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce and have continuously enhanced my skills through various trainings, including SENCO, Food & Hygiene, and Managing Behaviour, among others, broadening my knowledge across diverse educational areas. I also hold a First Aid Certificate.

My Availability

I'm ideally looking for a role of 3 to 4 days per week. I would require some flexibility for approximately 3 weeks per year (typically in February, June, and September) to accommodate university exams.
