About Me
Hi, I am a hardworking student studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Sussex. I have a love for children and think that they are extremely important to our future. My hobbies include art and anything creative, reading and swimming. I’m excited to help out in anyway I can and make a positive impact. Due to my flexibility I am free all week. I am willing to help out in anyway possible whether it is just to watch your children for a couple of hours or more. I’m a quick learner and follow instructions easily.
My Experience
During the summer of 2024 I worked as an arts counsellor in Wisconsin, America. Part of my duties involved planning, organising and leading art activities for a wide range of abilities and ages (ages 7-15). Furthermore, I was partly responsible for a cabin of children (9-10 years old) where I would be expected to look after their needs, part take in evening activities and join them on outings to the cinema and water park. As well as this, I’ve also babysat family and family friends children for the past 2 years. Finally, I completed the level 1 Sports Leadership program where I attended primary schools in my local area and ran sports activities which I also planned.
My Qualifications
I have completed GCSE; Maths (grade 7), English (grade 6) Science (grade 7) Spanish (grade 8) French (grade 7), Drama (grade 5) History (grade 7) and Business Studies (grade 6). I have also completed my A-levels; Politics (B), English Literature (B) and History (C). Level 1 Sports Leadership program. Finally, for camp I completed a week of staff training.
My Availability
During the summer I am available everyday and anytime. I continue my degree mid September and due to a flexible schedule (8 hours of lectures in a week) I can do weekends, afternoon and evenings.
