CALLING ALL AU PAIRS ??

We are looking for a au pair to join our family between July-September 2025, with the possibility of an extension, if it works out.

If you are relocating, we can offer accommodation for the first 8 weeks, we will not charge for this.

Job position:

- LIVE-IN option available (25-30 hours per week)

- the option to do every other day, as a job share

- 4 year old (nearly 5) girl and 2 year old boy.

- occasional, short, dog walking

- cleaning/housekeeping, helping to keep the home “ship-shape”

- planning of fun activities and learning

- competitive package, offering the opportunity to also join us on holidays abroad

- you won’t be home alone with the children, one parent will always be at home, in another room

- no evening work, you will be done by 7pm, each night

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is warm-hearted, kind, full of energy and shares a positive 'can do' attitude, with confidence to implement boundaries and manage high-energy children. English does not have to be your first language, we are a mixed race family so we welcome diversity.

Your accommodation:

We live in a beautiful 4 bedroom Victorian family home and have a fantastic set up to welcome a nanny to join our family. Your bedroom is located on a separate floor, offering additional privacy. There is a shared female only bathroom. You will have use of internet with Netflix and our laundry/utility room. We also have outdoor space and a TV lounge which you are welcome to use in the evenings.

Neighbourhood:

We are centrally located in the resourceful town of Redruth, Cornwall. A 5 minute flat walk into town. We have a bus stop outside our house and are 5 minutes from the train station, which offers a direct service to London, Birmingham and beyond.

Situated on a residential road, we are just a stone's throw from the diverse facilities of Redruth, such as the newly opened Buttermarket, the creative hub of the Ladder and the Regal theatre and cinema.

Redruth is home to culture and history, for you to explore.

We can offer the role to someone who has the right to work, where we can pay you weekly. We can also offer other packages, for example, if you are a student or international visitor, on a visa.

Approximate Routine

Monday to Friday - starting at 7:30, short 10 minute dog walk, getting breakfast ready and children dressed, bags packed for school, serving breakfast. Morning activity for the children, and helping load children into parent’s car, 9am - 10:30am housekeeping, cleaning and tidying, dusting, vacuuming, meal planning for dinner

11am to 4pm - free time

4pm to 6pm, helping parents prepare dinner, feeding and bathing children, evening “slow down” activity.

6pm to 7pm, tidying kitchen and lounge, watering plants, laundry.

Saturday and Sunday - starting at 8am, short 10 minute dog walk. Morning activity for the children. Tidying lounge and kitchen, finish by 11am.
