About Me
Hi! My name is Sophie, and I’m mum to a bright and curious 12-month-old boy. My husband and I both have busy, demanding jobs, so we’re looking for a caring and reliable care to become a trusted part of our family.
We’re looking for either a great environment for our child or for someone to come to us. Who is promised to give our son encouragement and attention during this important stage of his development. He’s energetic, playful, and eager to learn, so we’re hoping to find someone/somewhere who can support and encourage his developmental milestones—especially around speech—through fun, engaging play.
We’d love someone/somewhere creative, nurturing, and confident planning age-appropriate activities. Our child enjoys going on little adventures to the park, soft play, or the library, and who can help create a stimulating and loving environment where our little boy can thrive.
We’re looking for someone or placement which is warm, communicative, and shares our values around gentle, respectful care. If you’re someone who genuinely loves working with toddlers and wants to make a real difference in a little one’s life, we’d love to hear from you!
My Requirements
We’re looking for care from around 7:00am to 6:00pm on three days a week. The exact hours may vary slightly depending on our schedules, but we’ll always aim to give advance notice.
Our ideal placement would be:
• Fully qualified with experience caring for babies and toddlers
• First Aid trained (specifically for babies and children)
• DBS checked
• Ofsted registered (or willing to become registered)
• A non-smoker
• A driver with their own car, confident taking our son out for age-appropriate activities and day trips
We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and warm, who genuinely enjoys supporting a child’s learning and development in a nurturing, playful way.
