I live in Polmont with my husband and two children. My husband is a retired police officer and is fully disclosure checked. My son is at university, and my daughter is a primary teacher. We are a loving family and welcome all minded children into our home. We live in Eastcroft Drive Polmont, and the setting is extended to the rear to provide a large open plan area for children to play with access to a large enclosed garden. Our house is positioned within easy access to the main motorway links, the A803 and local transport facilities. It is my aim to provide a fun, safe, and caring environment for children in my care, we enjoy daily outings to the local soft play facilities, toddler groups, library, and country parks. I have been a childminder since 2011, and i am a fully qualified childcare practitioner. I keep up to date with professional development and regularly attend training and development courses. I am a partner provider with Falkirk Council to deliver funded care. I offer full day funding 8 -5 .
My Experience
I offer a wide selection of toys and resources for children of all age groups. I encourage learning through all aspects of play and daily life tasks. The children enjoy a fun filled day of activities, including arts and crafts, music time, free play, story time, computer games, outdoor play, and outings. I enjoy caring for children and love watching them thrive and develop their skills during their time with me. I keep up to date with training and can provide a list of professional developments undertaken when you visit,
My Qualifications
I am an experienced childminder and keep up to date with my professional training and development. I am qualified to level 3 children and young people. I can provide a full list of my qualifications at our first meeting.
My Availability
I am available between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Mon to Thurs. Hours can be extended upon request.

We have been so lucky to have Sandra looking after our little girl. It’s not easy leaving your wee one for the first time and heading back to work but Sandra made it easy! Our little girl loves going to Sandra’s and seeing her friends she’s made.
It’s been two years now and our little girl just loves Sandra and all her family. Sandra has created a home from home where I know she’s safe, cared for and has endless fun! Sandra puts so much effort into everything she does with the children and our little girl is always smiling when we go to pick her up!
Safe, happy and well fed - amazing!!

Our first daughter has been with Sandra since she was around 18 months and is about to turn 5. Our second daughter will be starting with Sandra too soon at around 8 months.
Over the last few years Sandra has offered an excellent service. Our daughter feels at home in Sandra’s home and thoroughly enjoys the time she spends with her. She is loving and caring and acts as another little family. Sandra has been very accommodating and really flexible with our drop off and pick up times and goes out her way to help. She offers a variety of different learning experiences for the kids and things like Christmas, Halloween parties are really special occasions that the children love.
During the pandemic we have had no issues and we know our daughter is in a really safe environment.
Would highly recommend Sandra to anyone.

Sandra has been our childminder since moving to Polmont 5 years ago. She cared for our older son through his ante and preschool nursery years and he continued on with wrap around once he started school. Our younger son has been with Sandra since he was 11 months and will continue with wrap around when he starts school in August. Sandra is friendly, kind and loving with all of the children in her care and she really creates a home away from home for them. She has tackled the pandemic head on to ensure she can still provide the highest level of care for the children, putting in place all the necessary mitigations. Our boys love spending time with Sandra and she encourages their learning through a variety of play/experiences. It is lovely to see snapshots of this through her private Facebook page. Sandra is very flexible and adaptable and goes above and beyond to accomodate different working patterns/nursery and school drop off and pick up times which is no mean feat!! Her family are also friendly and welcoming and even helped my older son with home learning during lockdown! We feel very fortunate to have Sandra care for our children and cannot recommend her highly enough!

Sandra has been looking after my eldest son for 3 years and his little brother for almost one year and has also recently started looking after my niece. Not only has she become our family childminder but we also regard her as a valued friend. Sandra (and her family) is lovely, she is friendly, kind and nothing is too much bother. She offers my boys (and their cousin) a welcoming, relaxed, environment in which they can play & learn. My son sometimes finds it difficult to leave me & his dad but Sandra has always been supportive, comforting my son and quickly putting our minds at ease. Sandra is also very flexible and will always do what she can to accommodate where work commitments change, etc. which is extremely helpful when juggling home and work life. We are especially appreciative of Sandra’s hard work during the pandemic to continue to support us, we couldn’t be without her!

My wee girl has been carefully and lovingly looked after by Sandra for over a year now and she has loved every minute! She doesn’t want to leave at home time!
Sandra is a wonderful lady with a lovely family and they really make you feel very welcome and included.
As a working mum it is so valuable to have someone so reliable looking after my daughter as some of my colleagues have difficulty with their childcare but Sandra has always been amazing. Her communication is excellent and it’s lovely to get photos and updates of their adventures to local attractions.
Sandra and her family have also worked especially hard this year to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.
My daughter has some allergies and eczema and Sandra has always been very supportive with this which is much appreciated.
Looking forward to continuing to see my wee one having fun and thriving in Sandra’s care.

Sandra has been looking after our girls for around 3 years now. Sandra (and her family) provide a very welcoming home in which the girls feel comfortable and safe. The girls enjoy going to Sandra's and enjoy playing with the other children. Sandra is very reliable, open and honest and has been flexible and supportive when our work commitments have changed.

My little one has been with Sandra since he was around 9 months. She's been great with him (despite challenges with skin and food allergies). He adores her and loves playing with the other kids. Working and having to leave my child can be tough but I know he is safe, getting lots of experiences and having fun with Sandra. Her communication is great including sharing pictures of what he gets up to so I don't feel I am missing out. Sandra is an absolute star anyone would be lucky to have her looking after their child.
