I have over a decade of experience in early childhood care and education. I have my Master of Science in Early Childhood Education, newborn and infant care specialist qualification and a BA in psychology. I am enhanced DBS checked and a driver with my own car.
I am a proponent of the gentle, conscious caregiving approach and am constantly working on my craft. am studying: The RIE approach, Play and Nature Based Learning, Positive Parenting and The Whole-Brain Approach. I am a calm, resilient, caring, patient, fun, hands-on and empathetic individual who is a responsible and adaptable caregiver, utterly committed and passionate about helping every child in my care and always prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the progress, safety and happiness of each and every child in my care.
I believe the formative years of a person's life are the most important; early childhood education is critical to ensuring healthy, happy, well developed, well rounded and well-adjusted children and, ultimately, adults.
To put it simply, I simply love working with children. It is what I do and always have done best. I have always known that teaching and working with young children is my ultimate calling in life.
