About Me
I am a 40 year old living in Four Marks with my partner and our 2 daughters, one who is 13 and one who is 8 years
I currently work as a childminder. I have been registered as a childminder for nearly 13 years.
I offer a home from home environment with lots of play activities and opportunities, and most importantly lots of fun.
On a daily basis we visit local toddler groups and parks, as well as marwell zoo and local farms.
I also run a toddler group in Medstead on a Thursday morning.
My aim is for children to feel safe and secure, valued and appreciated and confident to explore the experiences and activities I offer them so as to support their learning and development. The emphasis is always on fun and enjoyment.
My Experience
I have nannyied for 10 years with 2 different families.
The age of the children range was newborn - 7.
My Qualifications
Common core skills training for home based child carers(level 3)
MNT Childcare approval induction course (level 2)
CYPOP 5 (understand how to set up a home based childcare service)
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding workshop
I am fully insured
I also have a diploma level 3 called children and young people workforce
i do webinars on a regular basis to keep up to date

Rachel has been a god send for us! When our childcare plans completely flipped during the start of the pandemic Rachel came to our rescue!
My little boy was two and has loved going to Rachel’s right from the start. He goes two days a week and normally comes home with a picture or something he has made. Rachel is brilliant at bringing in topical themes to activities like the seasons or Valentine’s Day, earth day, world book day etc. Rachel always takes the children out and about to parks and other local ponds etc. My son loves the toddler group Rachel runs too.
Her setting is perfect with a dedicated area for the children with a great range of toys and resources.
Rachel is always reliable and organised and communicates with us clearly on everything. I always feel my little one in in the safest hands and he always has fun there. Highly recommend.

Rachel has been looking after my two pickles for a while now. She has become like extended family to the children who absolutely love ‘rachie’ she really cares about the children and has been a great support to myself when going through a divorce and the upheaval that can have on the children, she has been their one constant throughout to which I am eternally grateful. I don’t know what we’d do without out her and I’m so glad we managed to get in when she had the space!

Arlo joined Rachel at 4 months old and is still with her.
Rachel has been an absolute star and supported us on my return to work. It’s not been easy and we have had some tears but Rachel always helped where she could.
We have had fun with eating and sleeping and at times it wasn’t easy for any of us but Rachel always went with what I was trying to achieve and supported it and believe me I’ve changed things a lot. Sometimes she even went above her duties and even gave me advise and guidance bless her because sometimes you just need that.
Arlo is always so happy to be there. I knew Rachel before Arlo started there and I knew infact I even told her so. One day when I have a baby he will come to you.. Rachel has so much love and energy. I just knew Arlo would smile at her and he does the moment he sees her even after a break he holds out his arms and heads straight in for a cuddle.
I recommend Rachel to anyone. We absolutely love being part of her little group

The biggest accolade we can give to sum up our experience with Rachel that our boy can wait to get there and also doesn’t want to come home at the end of the day.
As parents were pretty laid back but both have jobs that can be demanding at times. Rachel always has our back and is super supportive on the rare occasions we need to swap days or are running late.
She creates amazing days for the children with themes and activities both indoors and outdoors.
The attention to detail and thought that went into changing drop offs/pick ups and clean downs after COVID lockdown last year put us completely at ease and we knew Albert was in good hands.
We’re so thankful we found Rachel 3 years ago. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without her now.

Rachel has looked after 2 of our children over the last 4 years, our middle daughter since she was 1. Both girls loved their time with Rachel, and from the outset we were hugely impressed with her in all aspects. She provides a safe and loving home environment, and has boundless energy and patience. I'd recommend her to anyone, we've already got no. 3 baby booked in with her!

My daughter has been going to Rachel since she was 10 months old until she started reception. Rachel always greeted us with a smile and kind words. She provided lots of fun and educational activities for the children, and my daughter was always happy to go. Rachel provided flexible hours and also had my eldest daughter when I was stuck on inset days too. An amazing lady who we do miss going to .

Rachel cared for our 2 young children as part of a nanny share arrangement. She was great with them and they really enjoyed being looked after by her. They went for walks, did activities at home and outside of the home and Rachel prepared good healthy food for them. We never had any worries or concerns about leaving our children who were happy and well cared for. Her approach was very calm - even when they weren't!

My eldest goes to Rachel before and after school and my youngest is there all day. My youngest has been with Rachel since she was a year old. Rachel has such a great rapport with her that there have never been any tears when I leave her. She can’t wait to go and spend the day with her. Rachel takes her out and about to toddler groups when ever possible and in the sumner they spend a lot of time in the garden playing or at the park. I can not recommend Rachel enough (I haven’t rated the food as my daughter takes a packed lunch)

My daughter has been with Rachel since she was just 1 and has always been happy to go. She struggles in busy environments like playgroups and Rachel has been patient with her but also ensured that she is exposed to these situations even though it’s not always been easy to do so. Rachel is always welcoming and provides a home from home environment.
