About Me
Hi my name is Tony, I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Beckenham within 10 minutes walk from Kent house and Clock house rail station, 5 minutes walk from Avenue road tram stop. Local bus routes include the 227, 358, 194, 356,197 and 75. There is also room to park a car on my drive should it be required. I am married to a teacher and have 2 children a boy and a girl aged 11 and 6. We are a warm and friendly family with a welcoming home with plenty of toys, arts and crafts and other fun things to occupy children of all ages as well as visiting local parks, woods and toddler groups.
My Experience
I have been Ofsted registered since 2007, and was awarded an outstanding grade on my last inspection in March 2011. During my time as a childminder I have cared for children between the ages of 6 months to 11 years of age.
My Qualifications
I gained an NVQ level 3 in children’s care, learning and development in July 2010
I passed four out of five units in a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare, before the course was cancelled in July 2009
I have completed a 6 day training course on child development in April 2013
I regularly attend Safeguarding and Child protection courses latest May 2013
I also hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate which expires October 2015
I am also a member of the Bromley Childminder network which allows me to access funding for 2 year olds.
