About Me
I have been living in the Mosspark area of Glasgow for the last 30 years and have 4 children, 3 of whom live at home and work full time.
I have been a childminder for over 10 years now and have lots of experience of caring for children of all ages. I am registered to take on children eligible for the Eligible 2s funding and the ELC (Early Learning Childcare) which would be nursery aged children.
My Experience
During my childcare studies I had to do a placement in a council school and nursery over a duration of 2 years. After I completed my diploma, I worked in the afterschool and baby room facility provided by the college.
I then decided to start up my own business - Littlesteps Childminding Services.
I am fully insured and qualified as well as being registered with the SCMA. I have a designated playroom and supply all lunches and Snacks, allowing me to ensure all coronavirus and hygiene policies are strictly adhered to.
I aspire to create a warm and safe atmosphere for the children in my setting. I encourage them to be themselves and try to help them develop into socially aware and confident children.
We regularly go to the park and playgroups (where possible) as well as soft play areas, when permissable.
I have a large, child safe garden with all sorts of equipment for the children to play with if we can't get to the park. All fees for playgroup, lunch and snacks are included in the price.
Parents can be eligible for FREE Funded places subject to the council's terms and conditions.
Pick up and drop off may also be an option.

My Qualifications
I have achieved an NC and HNC in Early Years Chilcare and Education as well as some modules in NC Social Care at Cardonald College.
My Availability
I am available form 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. This can be flexible in special circumstances eg early start for working parents. I can provide short term childcare eg, duration of the school holidays.

My son has been under Naseem daycare for just about a year now. I could not have asked for a more lovely, well caring and dedicated person to look after my son.
I can see from my son's attitude that he genuinely loves her and being there. It only took him a day to settle him. Since then, he is always keen on getting there.
She provides healthy meals and ensures that kids are having daily activities (going to different toddlers groups, soft play, parks when the weather allows it).
She is teaching him a lot of things and good manners. He always surprises me with the new things he can do thanks to her.
I would highly recommend her to anyone and totally trust her with my son upbringing and care.

Naseem has been great with my daughter. She is very caring and accommodating and was very patient allowing my daughter to adjust when joining her and taught her alot through music, playgroups, craft/art classes as well as home activities. She provides a happy relaxed atmosphere, and my daughter enjoyed going to hers.
She also communicated very well with me, giving me information about how her day has been.
She is very positive with the children and teach her (and them) good manners from a very young age as well as providing healthy meal choices. Naseem is indeed reliable, approachable and very friendly. Skylar has a genuine fondness for her, her family and the other kids...
The only reason we stopped her services is because we are moving cities but i couldn't have asked for a better childminder for my daughter who joined her when she was 18 months and now turning 2.

Naseem has been our little boy's childminder for 2 years now. He loves spending time with her and her family. She provides plenty of fun activities, playgroup visits and healthy enjoyable food. She's very flexible and an all round lovely person!
