My name is Janet Swanston I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and from January 2025 I will be providing home-based childcare again in the Levenshulme area of Manchester. The good news is at present I have vacancies for daycare. I have worked in the early years sector in a variety of settings for the many years, I have a 2:1 BA Hons degree in Early Years which complements my wealth of experience.
The local community in Levenshulme provides lots of educational, stimulating and enjoyable experiences which is well used by the children who attend my setting. The train station and regular 192 bus route is nearby my house, as a result we really enjoy trips out using local transport. As well as meeting the individual needs of children in my care I work closely with parents and carers, sharing advice and resources to support parenting and learning at home.
My Experience
Creches, playgroups, day nurseries in the private, public and the voluntary sector. Manchester Quality Assurance Team and the EYFS in a primary school.
My Qualifications
NNEB Nursery Nurse, BA hons in Early Childhood Studies and a wealth of qualification for early years. Parent and Carers are welcome to see my certificates when they visit my setting.

I work Monday - Thursday, 8am - 6pm ( earlier and later at request)
