About Me
My name is Julie and I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for the past 23 years. During this time I have cared for numerous children ranging from birth to 12 years as I also operate a before and after school service for The Willows primary school.
I have a dedicated playroom with an extensive array of equipment and a large, child friendly, safe, secure garden. I take the children out on a wide variety of educational and fun trips daily, I believe that variety prevents boredom and improves behaviour.
There is a quiet room where children can either nap or take quiet time out, TV, Video, IT equipment. I am a firm believer in equal opportunities and offer age appropriate teaching with a wide range of indoor and outdoor play equipment to promote both fine and gross motor skills.
I am conveniently situated close to the local hospital with good transport links to surrounding areas.also walking distance to Royal Stoke hospital .
Funded places for 9 months/1/2/3/4 year olds .
My Experience
I decided to take a change in career to childminding following the birth of my daughter who is now 23 years old and during that time I have encountered and dealt efectively with the numerous problems that children can throw at you.
I believe in maintaining a frank and open relationship with parents and manage to foster a trusting relationship with the children in my care.
My Qualifications
I have obtained my Level III Diploma in Childcare as well as:-
- CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childminding
- Paediatric First Aid
- Child Protection Early Years
- Effective Management of Child Behaviour
- Food and Hygiene
- Basic Drug Awareness
- Communicating with Confidence
- Level 1 Speech and Language
My Availability
My hours of work are from 07.45 until 17.15 Monday to Thursday excluding Bank Holidays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
I offer care from 07.45 until 5.00 and my rates are: -
Full day - £40.00 including food & outings
Half Day - £30.00 5 Hours
I offer before and after school care ,I also offer free early years funding for 1- 2-3-4 year olds. I also collect from the willows primary school, and care for children in the school holidays.
Before and after school rates , weekly fee's only £ 55 per week .

Julie is simply the best. My daughter absolutely loves her. I can comfortably work with no worries knowing that Julie has got her. When my daughter started with her, her communication skills was deficient but now she's muchore advanced than her peers. She is also quite independent now in alot of ways and very nold and outspoken. She really blossomed at Julie's. Thank you so much for all you did

I cannot praise and thank Julie enough for the care and love that she gives to my daughter on a daily basis. My daughter has been looked after by Julie since she was 14 weeks old (3 yrs now), in a loving, home from home environment. She has a lovely nursery room layout that is practical and stimulating, lots of outings, great toys and teachings aids, and a wealth of experience with children that is second to none. I have watched my daughter flourish under her care, I have never had a tear when I leave for work and she is far advanced in her communication and social skills for her age group. I have complete confidence that my daughter is safe and happy once I leave her. I cannot recommend Julie highly enough.

Julie started looking after our first child Abbie (now 6yrs) when she was just under 6 months old and we've never ever regretted the decision. The level of childcare offered by Julie is fantastic. The children have a range of toys to play with, they have a dedicated playroom, they are taken out on trips virtually every day and they eat home cooked food.
Abbie instantly settled at Julie's and they've almost become a second family to her. She now loves going back during the school holidays.
When I became pregnant with our second child Cara (now 17mths) I instantly reserved a place at Julie's and she loves it every bit as much as Abbie did.
I know that when I drop my kids off with Julie in the morning I don't have to worry about them again during the day because they are so well cared for.
