About Me
My name is Nicole, I'm 34 years old and am living in the Arnos Grove area. I am mummy to a funny, outgoing and beautiful little girl named Anastasia, who is 7 years old.
I love working with children and have a real passion for supporting them to learn, grow and develop in a variety of ways. I have over 15 years of experience working with children in a range of settings. I've been nannying for around 5 years now, however I gained the majority of my experience working in private day nursery settings where I began as a nursery assistant and worked my way up to nursery management. During this amazing journey, I gained my Level 3 qualification as well as a Level 5 foundation degree in Early Years Management and Leadership. I have also previously done various babysitting and nannying jobs for family and friends as well as for nursery parents and others through recommendation. I really love working as a nanny and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity of more freedom in my job. It's great to be able to explore a range of activities with the children I care for aswell as visit a wide range of local places and on fun and educational trips.
I'm happy to follow what is required to meet the childrens needs as well as ensure the children are tidied and cleaned up after. I am currently employed part time and am open to adhoc or possibly fixed hours around this (offering flexibility if needed) on certain weekdays. I have occasional availability on a weekend/evening but prefer not to commit to these times consistently on a weekly basis. I have my own car and full driving licence. I was previously Ofsted registered but am not currently, however this could be discussed. I am DBS checked and on the update system aswell as first aid trained.

My Experience
I have been mainly nannying over the last 5 years as well as occasional work in a preschool and childminder setting. My nannying positions have included caring for babies from newborn up to 5 years (and above), looking after multiple children at once, supporting new parents and families, either on a part time or full time basis. I also studied a course in maternity nannying to support a role with a new mum and baby.
Prior to nannying, my role was in a nursery setting as a Deputy Manager of a 80 place private day nursery with children aged three months to five years. This role enabled me to show my ability to be responsible and strengthened my management skills. I worked for a very successful nursery chain and was in the company for over 8 years. I worked in several of their nurseries using opportunities to progress in my career through the different roles of unqualified nursery assistant, nursery nurse, room leader and third in charge before becoming deputy and very often managing the nursery on my own on a daily basis. I gained experience in the baby room all the way up to the Preschool room, with children ages 3 months to 5 years as well as managing teams, being designated safeguarding lead and supporting children with SEN.
I have lots of other previous experience working with children, including working in a creche, placements in preschools and have done plenty of other nannying/babysitting in the past.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Qualification (1 year Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce) and a Level 4 & 5 Qualification (2 year Foundation Degree in Early Years - Management and Leadership). I have studied a course in Maternity Nursing, completed numerous Pediatric First-Aid training and hold a full DBS check. I can register with Ofsted if required.
My Availability
I am currently employed part time but may be available on an adhoc/weekly basis around my permanent role and own childcare needs.
(Also may be available for occasional overnight and weekends but to be discussed further).

Nicole looked after our newborn to give mum a much needed break. She’s well experienced, trustworthy and such a lovely, bubbly character with so much energy! I’d highly recommend her.
