I am a fun, energetic and enthusiastic person. I love working with children and their families. I have 3 children of my own who love having little friends within my setting. I treat all of the children who attend like my own, which helps them to feel safe and secure whilst here. I have worked with children for over 16years and enjoyed every moment.
My Experience
Whilst studying my Childcare and Education Diploma Level 3 i worked at Tibby tots nursery, Lucy lockets nursery, Our lady of lourdes primary school and nursery. After qualifying i have worked at Kinderworld in southport for a summer on cover. I have also worked as a nanny for 1 year looking after 3 children within a really nice family, a girl aged 8months and two boys aged 4years and 6years old.
In 2012 i moved back from France after looking after 3 children in Reims for 6 months. They knew very little English so i had to teach them English and take them on day outings around where they lived in France.
I have also worked with a 3month and 1year old and it was great we went on days out and had a timetable planned so that i could make sure they were getting the education they needed aswell as having fun. I prepared meals, helped them get to sleep and just made sure they were always safe and happy!
I then became pregnant and had my own little girl when she was around 6months old i started working for another family as a nanny who was exactly the same age as my little girl and they became best friends.
Occasionally i picked up her 3 older siblings, twins aged 8years and a 12year old. I also looked after them on school holidays and made sure we did activities that were age appropriate for all children.
I worked with this family for around 2years and enjoyed it so much! I became pregnant again and now have a little boy of my own too.
I have stayed in touch with a couple of previous families and my children now play with the children I cared for which is amazing as they will be able to grow up together.
In 2019 i finished studying my Certificate in Education & Training. I am currently also volunteering for the NSPCC as a child counsellor 4 hours a week alongside childminding. I am also a school governor and in the evenings i am studying a child counselling degree.
Whilst childminding i ensure we regularly go on trips out and many of adventures our favourite places to go are windmill farm and fairy glenn. We do alot of craft activities and my front room is changed regularly with the toys in our playroom to enable children to explore different toys and activities. All toys and equipment is cleaned on a regular basis and healthy food is prepared every lunch and snack.
My Qualifications
I have a valid Paediatric First aid certificate, driving licence, Level 3 CACHE diploma in Childcare and Education and a enhanced CRB /DBS check, Certificate in Education and Training and many other smaller certificates such as Safeguarding, Level 3 child counselling,Diversity and much much more. I ensure incomplete a CPD course as much as I can to ensure i am up to date with relevant information.

I was nervous about the prospect of employing a Nanny to take care of my 4 children, aged 6 months, 8 (twins) and 12 at the time, but needed to given the demands of my employment, the complicated nature of school runs to different schools and the varying routine that our life consisted of.
I was incredibly lucky to find Kimberley and our first meeting plus the excellent references that she already held certainly put my mind at rest.
Prior to commencing her post Kimberley took the time to get to know my children in her own time ensuring that it was a seamless transition when she started to care for them, all of my children adored her and still do, she quickly became part of the family.
I trust Kimberley implicitly, she has never let me down, she has always been 100% reliable and I am grateful for all of that.
Kimberley is an incredible Childminder and her provision for the little people in her care is excellent, she creates a nurturing fun environment that promotes development.
