About Me
My name is Hermise I am 39 years old married with my own children.
We live in close proximity to the L&D hospital, motorway and Leagrave train station. Our home is suitable for children, all safety measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the children in the home. I am Ofsted registered, have a dbs, first aid and I have completed a common core of skills course enabling me to offer childminding services.
I can offer a fun, safe environment for your child, I have been childminding for 9 years now after working as a nanny for over 10 years. I use my home as a base for children to come in and have a home from home setting. I can offer my services from 7am till 6pm. I offer school runs to Hadrian Academy, Willow Nursery and The Vale Academy.
I believe in children having freshly prepared food every day, I offer a healthy balanced diet full of variety. I provide the children with healthy snacks prepared by myself and I am aware that children have different dietary requirements which I will happily accommodate
I have a double buggy., buggy board, highchairs, car seats , playmates and bouncers all the equipment needed to suit the various ages. We also have ample amounts of toys, puzzles, paints etc and we live near a park which is very handy. The children enjoy playing in the garden, going to the zoo, the farm. We frequent local playgroups to socialise with other children and encourage development. I also offer fun age appropriate activities for all the children to enjoy and we sometimes enjoy trips to the seaside and the cinema.

Working as a childminder I offer fun and educational games and tools to help children learn and develop. I have experience with special needs children, newborns and children up to 15 years old.

This was my first time ever using a childminder and as a new mum I was so anxious even thinking about childcare when I had to return to work. I found Hermise on the childcare website but also through a recommendation from another childminder as they didn't have availability. My husband and I met Hermise first before we could decide and since then I have never been so grateful to have met such a warm and wonderful person. We love her personality and how she takes care of our daughter. Hermise is such a bubbly person and you can really see how the home environment is as the kids are relaxed and so happy (her own kids and the others). I never thought my daughter would ever settle anywhere becos she is a clingy girl since she's been exclusively breastfed. But Hermise has really taken good care of my daughter and she's now settled so well I could not be more grateful.
From a new mum who could not decide which childminder to choose from (as I'm not from the luton area so I really didn't know anyone) I 1000000000% recommend Hermise you will love her. A beautiful and kind person inside and out ♥️

I found Hermise via this site and chose her to look after my little girl when I went back to work. My daughter was cared for by Hermise from the age of 1 to 4 and I couldn't have asked for a better environment for her. She was extremely happy there and excited to spend time with Hermise and her beautiful family, developing a strong bond with everyone.
Hermise catered for my daughter's halal diet and helped her to develop with fun-filled exercises at home as well as regular trips to soft play and the farm. She much preferred spending her day at Hermise's over attending nursery!
I would highly recommend her services to anyone that wants a loving, caring environment that helps your child to grow strong bonds and develop. Thank you Hermise for everything.

I found Hermise on childcare.co.uk.She was very kind ,polite and caring from the very first day we met.As soon as i visited her home with my daughter Olivia I knew this was the best place for her.You could just feel the love and energy she gave to all the kids that she looked after.Hermise was able to provide before and after school care for my daughter which was an added bonus made my life so much easier I could get to work on time.She was so supportive and really went above and beyond with the care she gave.Olivia enjoyed everyday she spent at Hermise’s with other kids plenty of activities and good food.i highly recommend Hermise she’s amazing and will meet every child and parents individual needs always.

Hermise is full of positivity. She encourages both kids and parents. Very Kind and supportive. The atmosphere and happiness at her place is remarkable. She provides great food for the kids and my little one is a fan of her cooking skills. She makes kids feel important by celebrating their birthdays and Giving them thoughtful gifts. My son learned a lot of Rhymes and got interested in reading books. She is very trustworthy and loves kids so much.

We are so lucky to have found Hermine ahe makes amazing food , does daily activities, and truly cares about her children . Alayla has been going for a few weeks and has not cried , settled straight away and just felt like home .
Her home is tidy and clean .
Her food is great Alayla always seems super happy
I love the daily messages and updates !
After trying 1 nursery 2 childminders we felt so disheartened that Alayla’s wasn’t able to settle but after just the welcoming session with Hermise we knew she was the one for Alayla .
We are so lucky to have found someone who truly shows love and care for her children and my daughter looks forward to seeing her and giving her a cuddle each day 💕

I contacted a number of childminders for my 2 young sons, Hermise was the first one the respond and seemed very friendly. She then contacted me and gave me some very useful information about funding and deadlines, I later met her face to face with my children and it became very clear that she was very good at her job. The kids felt very comfortable around her, we even met her husband who was as good with children. This family will genuinely look after your kids like their own and I would recommend them to anyone. I didn't place the kids there as I decided last minute that my 3yo (turning 4) would have a better advantage at a nursery near home. She a mother of 4 and has plenty of experience. If you're looking for a safe and clean home , look no futher.

first time in using child minder, she sounded good , made all arrangement but disappointed me the last hour, when we were suppose to visit the premises with my child , she cancelled an hour after the appointment was due, and sounded money is the key factor . Very disappointed but also glad I did not place my child there.

Sorry you were not happy with my reasons but as I said you were expecting a lot, pick ups from 2 different nurseries and also changed your initial arrangements from 5 days to 3 days. I did explain myself and am also glad you did not bring your child as I can’t commit to your requirements so better to not start than to let you down half way through. All the best with your search!
Hermise has been a Godsend to our family. We took our son out of nursery as he wasn’t thriving and placed him with Hermise at quite short notice, the change was evident very quickly. Her personalised and hands approach has meant our son frequently asks for her on the days he’s not with her, his eating has improved, he’s made new friends and all during a pandemic. She’s an amazing childminder, endless energy and always smiling.

Hermise was a lifesaver. We found her during a frenzied last-minute search and I truly believe she was meant to come into my lives.
She toilet-trained our daughter within the first 3 days of my daughter attending her provision. This was a massive area of concern for us, but she made my daughter feel so calm and supported that my daughter didn’t even think anything of it, during this major milestone.
Hermise describes her childcare as a home from home and I definitely agree with this. She is the reason why we even searched for a primary school within Hermise’s catchment as I want my daughter to continue to experience her warm family values. I felt we were definitely made to feel valued as a family, welcomed into her family and that my child genuinely mattered. Hermise has a fantastic work ethic and as working parents, this is something we highly appreciated straightaway. She has supported our daughter in not only nurturing and caring for her but by ensuring she gets a stimulating and challenging provision in Hermise’s care. By far, the best and outstanding childcare I have seen. (Also as an Early Years teacher myself, I can say my daughter is really getting high-quality childcare!)
I just want to add as well, during our rushed settling in period, Hermise did her utmost to ensure not only was my daughter comfortable. It that my husband and I felt confident and reassured. We had the chance to meet her whole family, and this early encounter made us feel that we had made the right choice in finding Hermise to look after our daughter.
