About Us
Our Quality Service:
We are a small nursery with a warm and friendly atmosphere with small groupings of children to ensure a "home from home" feel. All our stall are qualified and have first aid certificates and we have a very low staff turnover. We employ extra support staff to ensure lunch breaks and holidays are covered and high ratios always maintained. We provide a healthy and nutritious menu with maximum stars awarded for Food Hygiene from Environmental Health, provided by our qualified and full time chef. Our outdoor play area which is fully enclosed and secure, provides the children with a wide variety of resources and toys. We offer additional activities free of charge including Forest School sessions, Superstar Sports, Music and interactive Storytelling sessions.
Opening hours are from 7:30am until 6:00pm, for 51 weeks a year. No charge for Bank Holidays or our closure at Christmas.
In addtion we run anBREAKFAST CLUB AND OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB service offsite at Meadowdale Primary School, for children aged up to 11 years with drop offs and pick ups from most local schools within Market Harborough. Meals are included within this term-time service. We also offer a SIBLING BUS SERVICE for parents with children at both locations, to make drop off and collections easier at a central point. Staff are very well qualified and experiences and we have high staff ratios and low groupings of children.
We also hold a regular HOLIDAY CLUB during Leicestershire school holidays at Meadowdale Primary School, 8am-6pm for all school children aged 4-11yrs. This Club is available to all families, even if they do not use us regularly for before school and afterschool care. A full and exciting programme of activities is provided within each school holiday. Staff are well qualified and experiences and we have high ratios and low groupings of children.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £25.00 per morning
Please contact us for details of our up to date fee rates for both Caterpillar Day Nursery and the Out of School Club. We can also advise you on possible funding available to help with your childcare costs.

My oldest has been with Caterpillar since he was 14 months old and has now started school, which was heartbreaking as it’s the end of an era as a mum and it was so sad to leave his lovely nursery years behind him. The staff are all wonderful, great rooms and outdoor space, and the food was always excellent.
My youngest is there now and she has a brilliant time there. Thank you to Caterpillar for providing such a wonderful service.

The best nursery for my children, I would recommend Caterpillars to anyone who is looking for childcare. Having looked around others, I hadn't felt the comfort I did when attending caterpillars. The staff are all happy and friendly, always smiling faces from staff and children. The planning and observations done for the children are just brilliant and its lovely being on the app so we can share what we do from home. The food is amazing & my children try so much more at nursery then they do at home - constantly trying different things. The overall experience with the activities and resources available to children and the wonderful outdoor area is just brilliant for children of all ages. Having 2 children in different age groups I have got to experience both and can say they are both extremely happy and settled here! Can't thank Caterpillars enough for being such a great support to helping my children develop and grow. Fantastic care x
