About Me
I am a Qualified Nanny and I was until recently a Registered Childminder. I live in Dunstone, Plymstock with my son and Fiance. .
I am now looking to work from a clients home due to downsizing,as a Nanny again or before or for after school pick ups and for evening babysitting.
I am hoping to be able to continue with toddler groups in the area. Unfortunately the family I have been with for two years are moving away at the end of the year. So I will be looking for a new position from February 2021.
I am now thinking about the possibility of minding over eights from my home. Would anyone be interested in after school from Dunstone or else where in Plymstock?
My Experience
Upon Qualifying as a Nanny, I worked for a family in Surrey for a year with three children. I then worked in Plymstock for a family for 4 years. Looking after a newborn and 2 years later also his sister from newborn. Both jobs were live in positions.
I then became a Registered Childminder, so that I could be at home with my son whilst he was growing up. He is now 21 and after 22yrs I have decided I'd like to work away from home.
I have also spent many years babysitting children of all ages. Both privately and through Sitters agency.
My Qualifications
I have a wealth of experience in Childcare and hold the following qualifications related to my career:-
Diploma in Nursery Nursing
Childcarers first Aid Qualifications
Childminding Foundation course
I have also trained in Child Protection, Behaviour Management, The Early Years Foundation , food hygiene and many more.
I have a current DBS and Nanny Insurance

Claire has been looking after my two children for the past two years. She started with us when my son was only 9 months old and my daughter was 2. She has helped them flourish into independent, happy, and confident pre-schoolers. Claire provides learning, craft, fun, and plenty of outdoor play. She has always respected and fit in with my parenting decisions and, as we have faced some tough times as a family over the past year, we have worked together as a team. If you are looking for someone who is kind, flexible and knowledgeable about child development she is a perfect choice. She is also brilliant with fussy eaters.
