I am registered with Ofsted and have been a Childminder for 23 years and thoroughly enjoy my work. I have been rated good by Ofsted for the 23 years I have been registered with my last inspection being March 2023. . I have 2 children of my own who are 28 and 26. I have been married to my husband for 27 years . We also have a 17 month old black Labrador called Marvin who simply adores children. We live in a semi detached house in Carlton with a large garden and outdoor equipment, and we are within walking distance of two local parks. I offer a loving, warm, safe and stimulating environment with a dedicated playroom for children's enjoyment, I offer a quality and professional service and am very flexible in my work. We go on lots of trips to local parks, toddler groups and indoor play areas. We also take part in local play days etc giving the children lots of opportunity to try different experiences and take part in physical activity. We socialise regularly with other childminders and their children too. I offer a wide variety of activities and have many happy parents both past and present. I also offer lots of healthy snacks and lunches. .I do pick ups from local playgroups, nurseries and schools. I am on the 25 and 43 bus route and am close to all major routes for city centre etc.I have references from parents past and present and reviews from parents on here should you wish to view them. The majority of my work is gained through word of mouth and recommendation. I also offer funding for 9 months 2,3, and 4 year olds. My setting opens mon to thur from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm
My Experience
I have been childminding for 23 years and have cared for children of all ages during this time and have thoroughly enjoyed looking after them all, indeed some of them have been with me since I first began minding and I have watched them grow, mature and develop like my own children. I have experience of looking after children with speech and hearing difficulties , dairy intolerance and have received training to care for children with type 1 diabetes .I have helped out at the local school with reading in class etc and worked in a playgroup whilst building up my Childminding business in the early days.I have 5 step grandchildren as well as raising my own two children.
My Qualifications
I have a Paediatric First Aid certificate along with a current Health and Safety and Safeguarding Children certificate. I have qualified at level 3 in Childrens Care, Learning and Development.I have done several part time childcare courses and continually update my professional development through childcare courses.
My Availability
We have vacancies for Mon-thur from Sept 2026 term time only. I currently work along side my sister who is my Ofsted registered Assistant. She also has paediatric first aid and safeguarding qualifications and a full dbs. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested .We also offer the 9 months ,2,3 and 4 year Government funded spaces.

Both my little boys have been with Tracy and Christine since they were nine months. Making a decision to choose your childcare is massive and choosing these two was the best decision we’ve ever made! They love their children like their own and create a real home from home atmosphere:) I leave the boys everyday knowing they are going to have an amazing time and are given the best opportunities which some other childcare providers wouldn’t be able to offer! They go the extra mile to support their families and the flexibility they have given us has been above and beyond:) children thrive developmentally when they are happy and in the right care and these two certainly provide that:) what more could you ask for we just don’t want them to leave!

My son has been going over a year and he’s come on leaps and bounds! I can’t fault anything! I have full trust in everything she does! Nothing is ever a effort. My sons speech has come on amazing. Thank u so much for everting you do

My daughter always enjoyed her time here and now so does my young son!
Such a wonderful family environment and always very professional and experienced.
I have always been happy knowing my children are happy, safe and having many wonderful experiences here.

An amazing, professional person to work with. Very helpful, helped my daughter to feel relax and at ease straight away. A lovely caring home, family and support network. Extremely reliable. I never had to worry when my daughter was in her care.
