About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded as Good in my last inspection, July 2022.
I provide a safe homely environment where children can learn and achieve whilst most importantly having fun. I offer varied activities including creative play, messy play and free play, the children in my care attend local toddler groups, wriggly readers at the local library, outings to parks, farms and too many other places to list. I aim to take the children outdoors every day and we visit forests and other natural environments at least twice a week. I have an annual membership to Twycross zoo, Conkers and a National Trust membership which I take full advantage of to enhance the children's learning. I am a positive role model teaching the children to respect and value both the setting and the people in it. I work in partnership with families to ensure that I meet the needs of both yourself and your child. I believe that children will only reach their full potential when they are interested and having fun and this is my aim for every child in my care
My Experience
I have been working as a registered childminder for thirty years, in this time I have cared for children with special educational needs and disabilities. I have experience of twins (having had them myself), I care for children between the age of six weeks and twelve years, I provide before and after school care for St Denys infant school Ibstock and Ibstock junior school, I will drop off and pick up from local pre-schools. I also provide school holiday care.
My Qualifications
I have a Foundation Degree in which I was awarded a distinction in Children and Young People's Services and an NVQ3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. Other training I have attended includes:

My Availability
I open at 7.30am and close at 5.45pm Monday to Thursday.
Children aged 9 months, 2, 3 or 4 who are eligible are able to access their 15 or 30 hours Free Early Education Entitlement with me and I am happy to offer this as sessions with no extra fees.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
My fees are as follows:
Daycare: £4.75 per hour.
Before and after school care: £18.00 per day 8.00am - 5.00pm, (hourly rate out of these hours)
School holiday care: £4.75 per hour.
