About Me
I live in Leigh-on-sea and have been a childminder for 10 years, prior to this i worked as a swimming teacher. My home is a happy and friendly place to be, it is also smoke and pet free. The children in my care have access to a large garden with lawn and decked area, I have a range of outdoor toys and equipment. I also have two rooms indoors one set out with plenty of toys and activities, the other set out to be perfect for when your child wants to relax at the end of a busy day. We spend a lot of time out and about at the local beaches, parks, woods, playgroups and librarys. Some of the other places we visited and activities we took part in last year include Hadleigh farm, Watt Tyler countrypark, the Sealife centre, the museum trail, the library book read, bowling and the cinema. My last Ofsted was July 2017 for which i was graded Good. I am also a member of Pacey and a network childminder.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder since september 2008 and have looked after children between the ages of 3 months - 12 years.
My Qualifications
I have completed CACHE 'introduction to childcare practice (home-based)'. I also hold a current first aid certificate for childcare practitioners and a safe guarding children certificate, I am a trained forest childcare provider. And regularly attend training courses, full details of my qualifications are available on initial consultation.
My Availability
I am available from 6.00am-7.30pm and can do drop offs and pick ups from preschools in Leigh and Leigh North Street Primary school.
