I am an experienced and dedicated nanny seeking a new opportunity starting from January 2025. With over 30 years childcare experience I am well-equipped to provide exceptional care for children of all ages, including new born and twins. I am available to work four days a week.
Currently, I am employed by a family in Muswell Hill, where I have been caring for an eight year old boy and his three year old sister for the past eight years. As the youngest child is set to begin nursery in September, my role with this family will come to a close in December.
Throughout my career I have found immense joy and fulfilment in working with children. I pride myself on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment which in turn promotes positive development and happiness. My approach is centred around maintaining a relaxed yet structured routine, providing consistency, security, and a sense of stability.
One of my strengths lies in my ability to connect with children through a good sense of humour, patience, and a genuine interest in their well-being. I believe in fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages their natural curiosity and love for learning.

Josh is a fantastic nanny. She looked after our son from 18 months of age until he went to school. She is kind, very experienced and I left for work every day knowing my son was in safe hands. She cares about nutrition and made sure our son had a balanced diet. She guided us through the developmental stages that all toddlers go through. She was brilliant at potty training and knew when the time was right. It took her 2 weeks and Otto was proud he had done it. It was not stressful for any of us. She taught us a huge amount . She has clear boundaries for the children that they respect and she is very straight forward to work with from the parents perspective. She is hard working and plans the child's week well. Otto was fully engaged with activities and play dates all week. Josh likes to get the children out and took our son to soft play, the zoo, story time, ballet, craft classes, and she took them to visit other children of a similar age for play dates. She is responsible, notices everything and is present for the needs of her charge. She looked out for our son totally and encouraged him
to do things for himself when she thought he was able so he felt a huge sense of achievement. Our child loved being with her and skipped off in the mornings knowing that fun and adventure was ahead. She was punctual, totally reliable and to my memory not off sick once. Josh really was amazing and we were very very lucky to have her. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Josh has worked with us for the last six years, since our daughter was 10 months old. We are extremely sad to have to say goodbye to her in September as our youngest is off to school. Josh has been fantastic with both of our children - she is gentle, kind, fun, and knows how to be firm when necessary. She is frequently out and about with our youngest at playgroups, parks, the zoo etc, and also spends a lot of time reading him stories, doing jigsaws, drawing and painting. Josh is super-reliable, punctual and tidy, and cooks healthy meals for the children every day. We cannot recommend her highly enough, and if there was any way we could carry on employing her we would!
