About Me
I am registered with OFSTED as a child minder in Thame, Oxfordshire under the business name of 'Little stars'. I am 35 years old and have worked with children for over 15 years, leaving a previous role of a deputy manager of a local day nursery. I am a bubbly, outgoing and reliable person who loves being around children therefore I have decided to progress my career into child minding. I have all the required paper work and I am fully qualified with a Degree in Early years, I am first aid trained and have my food safety certificate along with other training certificates I have picked up along the way! I love being outside! I enjoy planning creative and sensory activities for all ages children, planning accordingly for their age! I thrive in learning the interests of children and how I can use this to benefit their learning experiences!
My Experience
I love working with children of all ages! I love helping children to learn and develop through play, helping build their confidence and self-esteem. I look at the children individual interests to help support all areas of learning.
My Qualifications
I have nvq level 4 in childcare along with my first aid, level 2 in food safety and a current DBS have a full uk driving license. I have relevant safeguarding training. References available.

My son was looked after by Steph last year, he left in July to start his journey at preschool, he thoroughly enjoyed being with Steph and his time with all the children he was very sad when he left. Steph is very accommodating and is always happy, we still keep in contact and I still pick up and drop off my Friends daughter who also is thriving at Steph’s. she is always changing the toys and setting up little play areas each day for the children to enjoy and takes them out regularly whether it be too the library with other children of preschool age, the park or outings. I honestly couldn’t recommend Steph enough!!
