My Summary

My Experience

I have sole charge experience working with children aged 5 months, and have provided support to parents with younger children, as young as 4 weeks old. I had my own little boy in October 2022.

I worked as a live in nanny for two years from January 2011 with a boy aged 8 months. I then completed a temporary role looking after 3 children under the age of 5 for 2 months. Following this I did a months role working as a replacement nanny for a family whilst their nanny was away. I then completed a weeks temporary position for school aged children during a half term, and then various days looking after a 5 month old baby.

During the summer of 2013 I travelled to Australia and New Zealand. On returning I started a new full time role in the November as a sole charge daily nanny to a boy of 10 Months. I continued to work part time (2 days) for the family in 2015 after their second child was born, and took sole charge when he was 5 months old. This job came to a natural end in July 2017 when the family relocated abroad.

I started another part time role (2 days) in February 2015. This was working with two boys aged 10 months and 3.5 years. I stayed in this role until July 2018 when the boys were aged 4years and 6.5 years.

In September 2017 I started working with twins aged 12 months, and their older sister aged 3 years. This role I finished working in September 2018 in order to start a full time role.

At the beginning of October 2018 I started working as a full time, sole charge daily nanny with a boy aged 6 months. In December 2020 the family welcomed a baby boy, who I then had full time alongside his older brother until I went on maternity leave in September 2022.

After 11 months on maternity leave in August 2023 I commenced a new role with a 4 year old and 7 year old as an after school Nanny and then full time during school holidays. My own little boy accompanies me in this role.

Prior to being a nanny I gained experience as a nursery nurse working with 1-2 year olds in the toddler room in a nursery in Kingston (Sept 2009 - Dec 2010). I also have experience of working with children up to the age of 16 in various contexts. I have worked as an Early Years Play Instructor at a children's summer camp, being responsible for children aged 4-8 and the day to day running of their activities. As part of my degree I completed various placements in early years settings, as well as volunteering as a mentor with secondary school children.
