About Me
I have known from a very young age that I wanted to work with children. I like to think I provide a family style setting and consider my childminding children as members of my family. As a childminding family we like to get out and about we have chickens in the garden, we go out to toddler groups and spend time with like-minded childminders as well as chilling out at home painting, singing and building tents! The children have a separate playroom at the heart of the house on top of use of the normal living spaces! I have a silly cuddly cat so I would not be suitable for a child with a fur allergy!

My Experience
I have been working in childcare since I left school and even while training as an illustrator (around 28 years) my previous employer was "The Trees Daycare Nursery" where I work for around 9 years (they are happy to provide a reference)
I worked with children of all ages and have been working as a childminder for 14 years since before my son was born.
I really wanted to offer a more holistic style of childcare where children get the attention and affection a childminder can offer as opposed to a more impersonal nursery where staff change constantly!.
I am happy to look after a child who is in Re-usable nappies and well as children who use disposable ones as my son wore re-useables and i also welcome mothers wanting to continue breast feeding by expressing when they go back to work!
